   Re-Designing Your Business Culture

   Having just moved back to Trinidad, I’m currently faced with some hard questions not just about what sort of work I’d like to do here but also with whom I’d like to do it with.

   I’m a strong believer in the idea that no matter the technology or market size or partnerships existing, if a business does not have the right people with the right corporate culture encouraged and promoted, it will ultimately never aspire to a place where people like me will *want* to go to work for any extended period of time.

   This has been predominant especially in my Trinidad work experiences. I like this article because it shows me a path to developing questions which I can ask persons in such ‘culturally misaligned’ companies to see if they are ready to embrace a change in business culture that is also compatible with the ‘right people’ idea I encourage.

   I always strive to embrace and lead such types of changes, and if I had the opportunity to work with such a misaligned company, I would willingly do so if I believed I had the potential to enable such redesigns in business culture towards this ideal.
